All glories to Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga!!
Dear Kirtanananda Swami,
Please accept my humble obeisances. Prabhupada has revealed a bit more about things. He said that as time goes on he is less and less concerned about seeing visitors. He mentioned that Aurobindo saw visitors only once a year on his birthday. Although Prabhupada deemed this not possible now, I asked him where he would like to go for some time to translate. He said New Vrindavan, and he said that he would go there after the Rathayatra in N.Y. So it is up to Madhudvisa Maharaj how he can arrange things there. I have written him telling him of these things, and told him that if possible try to have the Ratha-yatra before April 10th ., then Prabhupada could stay at New Vrindavan until perhaps August 1. Prabhupada then will have to go to Europe and Tehran, arriving back in India for the opening of the Hyderabad temple on Janmastami. (if it is completed?). However, that is a question mark, but Prabhupada had some reservations about New Vrindavan. First he was concerned about the dangerous people with their guns that come around. I assured him that it was only isolated incidences, is it? Also, is the palace finished??? And also, is the quarantine lifted yet. Please write me in Fiji immediately and let me know these things. We go to Australia for short stay then Fiji by the 27th April for laying the foundation stone then Hawaii on or about May 1.
I hope that this meets you in good health.

All glories to Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga!!
Dear Madhudvisa Maharaj,
Please accept my humble obeisances. Prabhupada would like to spend some time in New Vrindavan this year, and he also would like to be back in India by about August 12 for going to Hyderabad to open the new Temple there. I think that you should try to arrange the Rathayatra in mid-June, perhaps about June 10 or so, in that way Prabhupada can translate in New Vrindavan. He told me yesterday that of all places, he would like to stop in New Vrindavan for some time and translate his books.
I trust that you will try to arrange accordingly if possible. Prabhupada will not be going to all the Rathayatras this year, but he mentioned that he would go to the New York Rathayatra, so he is very keen about this. After Rathayatra in New York His Divine Grace will go to New Vrindavan, and he should be able to spend perhaps 2-3 weeks there, before going to Europe, and Tehran, so the best would be to have to the Rathayatra as soon as possible and not later than the 10th June if possible, and at most the 15th June; anyway, see how it can be done and inform me.
I hope that this meets you in good health.

Dear Prabhus,
Please accept my humble obeisances. In reference to the telephone call I received from Dhiranga, I told Prabhupada the report and he was delighted. Especially he mentioned that the European people there are taking our books. So if necessary you can order more books, although I think that you have enough for the time being? Let me know. I have explained the format of the management in my previous letter, and I will expect reports from Dhiranga each month as it is not difficult and it is also very easy. Now we have more good men, so Dhiranga can oversee things there in my absence. Also, let the preaching go on without too much hindrance. Management means financing, and seeing that the spiritual standards are kept, however the local temple presidents can confer and find a suitable program, using the available manpower to have a nice program.
I shall be in Melbourne from the 18th April to the 23rd, then in Fiji until the 1st. May then in Hawaii for undetermined stay, then in L.A., N.Y., and New Vrindavan, Europe, then Tehran and India by August 10th for the opening of the Hyderabad temple on the 18th August. If Prabhupada keeps me with him, then I will advise you by post whatever I can do, so please respect Dhiranga’s position, and everyone should work nicely, and refer to these instructions, and the instructions in my previous letter concerning BBT organization, and on my tape I sent. In this way you are all first class devotees, and Prabhupada is very much pleased about your work. Always remember Krishna and never forget Krishna. My respects to all the devotees, and especially to Jagat Guru Maharaj.
Yours faithfully,

Dear Prana das,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Concerning your question about the spiritual name, it does not matter what the material karmi name was … the spiritual name is not changed. Also, we should always keep in mind that the das comes after so we are always the servant of. I hope that you are satisfied with this.
Hoping that this meets you in good health.

Dear President Prabhu,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
I have spoken with His Divine Grace about possible coming to Washington for June or early July sometime. Prabhupada said that he would come if you arrange meeting with the President, and I don’t mean the President of Iskcon Washington!!! He said he could have Indian Kirtan, some small talk and distribute prasad. In this way, if you do this you will be very much the one to take credit for this great opportunity. Late June or early July. I don’t see why you cannot arrange this. So many nonsense come to see the president. Couldn’t it be more like a social visit as you know what happens if you come on too heavy. Anyway reply to me in Honolulu, 51 Coelho Way, Honolulu, Hawaii.
I hope that this meets you in good health.

Dear Madhavananda das,
Please accept my humble obeisances. Prabhupada this evening expressed his desire to come to the Detroit temple this summer for a short stay, and so I am writing to inform you of this. At present the tentative schedule is to go to L.A. by the 1 June, then go to N.Y. for the 15 June until the end of the month, then New Vrindavan for the good part of July then Europe. So the best place is before going to N.Y. it could be arranged that Prabhupada could cut short his stay in L.A. some days and come to Detroit. I can not given an exact date yet as it depends on the date of N.Y. Rathayatra. So please inform me of the program in Detroit. Prabhupada doesn’t want any outside engagements but unless you give me an idea of your plans we will not be able to determine a nice program together and the number of days Prabhupada should spend. Washington is also another place Prabhupada may go, if they arrange a meeting with the President. Anyway, Let us correspond now and start making arrangements for Prabhupada to have a comfortable stay in Detroit sometime in June. I do not think he could stay more than 5 days maximum. Haribol!
I hope that this meets you in bliss.

Dear Gopal Krishna das,
Please accept my humble obeisances. I have received one letter addressed to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada from your wife. I discussed the matter thoroughly with Srila Prabhupada, and he has instructed me to write to you this letter, and the letter enclosed for your wife. Please see that she is given the letter. It is not possible for ISKCON to support your wife. That is not the business of ISKCON. If she lives in the association of devotees like the other devotees, then the necessities of life can be provided. If however you want to support your wife outside of the movement then you must have some job for this purpose. As it is unlikely that you wish to resume your work in the karmi world, Prabhupada said that why she should be restless. She has room, and board, all necessities are already there. If need be, she can stay with your mother in India, and I’m sure you would find that she would be welcomed. But, there is no possibility that we can support your wife if she goes to live in N.Y. as herein proposed. By reading these letters, I think that you will get the gist of Prabhupada’s instructions in this matter.
I hope that this meets you in good health.

Dear Ekayani dasi,
Please accept my humble obeisances. My dear mother, I have been asked by Srila Prabhupada to reply your letter of April 26, 1976 and I have discussed the matter thoroughly with His Divine Grace.
In India your husband is there, and your husband’s home is there. If there is some difficulty at the temple, then Gopal Krishna’s mother would surely welcome you into their home. Why should you go to N.Y.? There is no question of going back to N.Y., either you can live in the temple or at your husband’s home very peacefully with your husband and child. You and he are both devotees, so why should there be such disagreement. However, the society cannot support you if you should decide to return to New York. The ISKCON cannot support the whims of anyone and everyone who wants to live separately, that is not possible. So best to live peacefully and cultivate your Krishna Consciousness with your husband and child there in Bombay. I hope that this will set your mind at ease. All necessities are being provided for you and your child, so simply be satisfied and go on with your becoming Krishna Conscious. I hope that this will meets you in good health.

Dear Radhaballabha das,
Please accept my humble obeisances. I spoke with Srila Prabhupada concerning the points we discussed over the telephone. Firstly, I have already informed you that the painting of Narada and Yudhisthira conversing in the palace, there can be other people there besides. Secondly, Ramesvara should not listen to that nonsense ayur vedic doctor. I told Prabhupada what Ramesvara was taking for his hepatitis, rice and mung juice, I think you said. Anyway, Prabhupada said who is that rascal ayur vedic doctor. Prabhupada said that he should take rock candy (dissolved in water if he cannot suck on it) and also he can take papaya preparations.
Concerning Hayagriva coming here, Prabhupada said that he should he sent here immediately to complete the philosophy book. Prabhupada did not seem to mind that it might take two months. So send him. Prabhupada said that Hayagriva can edit the english portion and Pradyumna can do the Sanskrit, in this way the Bhagavatam can be finished quickly. He may have meant that the english of the philosophy book could be edited by Hayagriva. It was a little ambiguous. Anyway he can come immediately.
I hope that this meets you in good health. See that Ramesvara follows this advice, as I also took this and got over the hepatitis in one month.
