देवानृषीन्नृभूतानि पितॄनात्मानमन्वहम् स्ववृत्त्यागतवित्तेन यजेत पुरुषं पृथक्

devān ṛṣīn nṛ-bhūtāni pitṝn ātmānam anvaham sva-vṛttyāgata-vittena yajeta puruṣaṁ pṛthak

Synonyms

devānunto the demigods; ṛṣīnunto the great sages; nṛunto human society; bhūtāniunto the living entities in general; pitṝnunto the forefathers; ātmānamone's self or the Supreme Self; anvahamdaily; sva-vṛttyāby one's means of livelihood; āgata-vittenamoney that automatically comes; yajetaone should worship; puruṣamthe person situated in everyone's heart; pṛthakseparately..

Translation

Every day, one should worship the Supreme Being who is situated in everyone's heart, and on this basis one should separately worship the demigods, the saintly persons, ordinary human beings and living entities, one's forefathers and one's self. In this way one is able to worship the Supreme Being in the core of everyone's heart.
