evaṁvidhā gadantīnāṁ sa giraḥ purayoṣitām nirīkṣaṇenābhinandan sa-smitena yayau hariḥ

Synonyms

evaṁvidhāḥin this way; gadantīnāmthus praying and talking about Him; saḥHe, (the Lord); giraḥof the ladies of the capital; purayoṣitāmby His grace of glancing over them; nirīkṣaṇenaand greeting them, sasmitena—with smiling face; abhinandandeeparted; sa-smitenathe Personality of Godhead.

Translation

In this way while the ladies of capital Hastinapur were greeting and talking about Him, the Lord with smiling face accepted their good feelings and with His grace of glancing over them departed from the city.
