evaṁvidhā gadantīnāṁ sa giraḥ purayoṣitām nirīkṣaṇenābhinandan sa-smitena yayau hariḥ
Synonyms
evaṁvidhāḥ—in this way; gadantīnām—thus praying and talking about Him; saḥ—He, (the Lord); giraḥ—of the ladies of the capital; purayoṣitām—by His grace of glancing over them; nirīkṣaṇena—and greeting them, sasmitena—with smiling face; abhinandan—deeparted; sa-smitena—the Personality of Godhead.
Translation
In this way while the ladies of capital Hastinapur were greeting and talking about Him, the Lord with smiling face accepted their good feelings and with His grace of glancing over them departed from the city.
