Purport

The original source of knowledge are the Vedas. There is no branch of knowledge either mundane or transcendental,—which does not belong to the original text of the Vedas. They have simply been developed by different branches of followers as they were originally rendered by great, respectable and learned professors. In other words the Vedic knowledge, in different branches by different disciplic succssion, has been distributed all over the world. No body, can therefore, claim independent knowedge beyond the Vedas.
