ahaṁ ca tad-brahma-kule ūṣivāṁs tad-apekṣayā dig-deśa-kālāvyutpanno bālakaḥ pañca-hāyanaḥ
Synonyms
aham—I; ca—also; tat—her; brahma-kule—being dependent on; ūṣivān—that; tat—in the school of the brahmins; apekṣayā—lived; dik-deśa—direction and country; kāla—time; avyutpannaḥ—having no experience; bālakaḥ—mere a child; pañca—five; hāyanaḥ—years old.
Translation
I also lived in that school of the brahmins being dependent on my mother's affection while I was a mere child of five years old without any experience of the countries and different directions.
