তাহার মাধুর্যগন্ধে লুব্ধ হয মন অতএব তটে রহিঽ চাকি এক কণ
ताहार माधुर्यगन्धे लुब्ध हय मन अतएव तटे रहिऽ चाकि एक कण
tāhāra mādhurya-gandhe lubdha haya mana ataeva taṭe rahi' cāki eka kaṇa

Translation
It is not possible to dip into that great ocean, but its sweet mellow flavor attracts my mind. I therefore stand on the shore of that ocean to try to taste but a drop of it.
