ŚRĪ GURU PRAṆĀMA (obeisances)
oṁ ajñāna-timirāndhasya jñānāñjana-śalākayā
cakṣur unmīlitaṁ yena tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ
cakṣur unmīlitaṁ yena tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ
om—address; ajñāna—ofignorance; timira—bythe darkness; andhasya—of one who was blinded; jñāna-añjana—bythe ointment of knowledge; śalākayā—by a surgical instrument; cakṣuḥ—eyes; unmīlitam—opened; yena—by whom; tasmai—unto him; śrī-gurave—unto my spiritual master; namaḥ—obeisances.

svayaṁ rūpaḥ kadā mahyaṁ dadāti sva-padāntikam
