Śrī Nṛsiṁha Praṇāma
namas te nara-siṁhāya prahlādāhlāda-dāyine
hiraṇyakaśipor vakṣaḥ-śilā-ṭaṅka-nakhālaye
ito nṛsiṁhaḥ parato nṛsiṁho yato yato yāmi tato nṛsiṁhaḥ
bahir nṛsiṁho hṛdaye nṛsiṁho nṛsiṁham ādiṁ śaraṇaṁ prapadye

namaḥ—obeisances; te—unto You; nara-siṁhāya—unto Lord Narasiṁha; prahlāda—toPrahlāda Mahārāja; āhlāda—ofpleasure; dāyine—the giver; hiraṇyakaśipoḥ—of Hiraṇyakaśipu; vakṣaḥ—chest; śilā—onthe stone-like; ṭaṅka—chisels; nakha-ālaye—whose nails; itaḥ—here; nṛsiṁhaḥ—Lord Nṛsiṁha; parataḥ—there; nṛsiṁhaḥ—Lord Nṛsiṁha; yataḥ yataḥ—wherever; yāmi—I go; tataḥ—there; nṛsiṁhaḥ—Lord Nṛsiṁha; bahiḥ—externally; nṛsiṁhaḥ—Lord Nṛsiṁha; hṛdaye—internally; nṛsiṁhaḥ—Lord Nṛsiṁha; nṛsiṁham—Lord Nṛsiṁha; ādim—the origin; śaraṇam—tothe shelter; prapadye—I surrender.
"I offer my obeisances to Lord Nṛsiṁha-deva, who is always giving bliss to His devotees like Prahlāda Mahārāja and chiseling at the hearts of demons like Hiraṇyakaśipu. The devotee always sees Lord Nṛsiṁha everywhere. Lord Nṛsiṁha is within and without. Therefore let us all take shelter of Lord Nṛsiṁha."
