SB 1.12.15
tam ūcur brāhmaṇās tuṣṭā rājānaṁ praśrayānvitam eṣa hy asmin prajā-tantau purūṇāṁ pauravarṣabha
Synonyms
tam—unto him; ūcuḥ—addressed; brāhmaṇāḥ—the learned brahmin; tuṣṭāḥ—very much satisfied; rājānam—unto the king; praśrayānvitam—very much obliging; eṣaḥ—this; hi—certainly; asmin—in the chain of; prajā-tantau—descendental line; purūṇām—of the purus; paurava-ṛṣabha—the chief amongst Purus.
Translation
The learned brahmins, who were very much satisfied with the charities of the king, addressed the king as the chief amongst the purus and informed him to say "this son in the chain of descendental line of the purus."
