sa rāja-putro vavṛdhe āśu śukla ivoḍupaḥ āpūryamāṇaḥ pitṛbhiḥ kāṣṭhābhir iva so 'nvaham
Synonyms
saḥ—that; rāja-putraḥ—the royal prince; vavṛdhe—grew up; āśu—very soon; śukle—growing moon; iva—like; uḍupaḥ—the moon; āpūryamāṇaḥ—luxuriantly; pitṛbhiḥ—by the parental guardians. Kasthabhir—plenary development; kāṣṭhābhiḥ—like; iva—he; saḥ—day aftar day.
Translation
As the moon in its growing fortnight develops day after day so the royal prince very soon developed luxuriantly with all plenary facilities from the care taker guardian grand-fathers.
