শচী আসিঽ কহে,—কেনে অশুচি ছুঙিলা গংগাস্নান কর যাইঽ—অপবিত্র হৈলা

शची आसिऽ कहे,—केने अशुचि छुङिला गंगास्नान कर याइऽ—अपवित्र हैला

śacī āsi' kahe,—kene aśuci chuṅilā gaṅgā-snāna kara yāi'—apavitra ha-ilā

Synonyms

śacī āsi'mother Śacī, coming there; kahesaid; kenewhy; aśuciuntouchable; chuṅilāYou have touched; gaṅgā-snānabathing in the Ganges; karado; yāi'going there; apavitra ha-ilāYou have become impure..

Translation

When mother Śacī saw her boy sitting on the rejected pots, she protested, "Why have You touched these untouchable pots? You have now become impure. Go and take bath in the Ganges."
