Chapter 22: The Descendants of Ajamīḍha

कालषेयं पुरोधाय तुरं तुरगमेधषाट् समन्तात्पृथिवीं सर्वां जित्वा यक्ष्यति चाध्वरैः

kālaṣeyaṁ purodhāya turaṁ turaga-medhaṣāṭ samantāt pṛthivīṁ sarvāṁ jitvā yakṣyati cādhvaraiḥ

Synonyms

Translation

After conquering throughout the world and after accepting Tura, the son of Kalaṣa, as his priest, Janamejaya will perform aśvamedha-yajñas, for which he will be known as Turaga-medhaṣāṭ.
