श्रीशुक उवाच गोपा नन्दादयः श्रुत्वा द्रुमयोः पततो रवम् तत्राजग्मुः कुरुश्रेष्ठ निर्घातभयशंकिताः

śrī-śuka uvāca gopā nandādayaḥ śrutvā drumayoḥ patato ravam tatrājagmuḥ kuru-śreṣṭha nirghāta-bhaya-śaṅkitāḥ

Translation

Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued: O Mahārāja Parīkṣit, when the yamala-arjuna trees fell, all the cowherd men in the neighborhood, hearing the fierce sound and fearing thunderbolts, went to the spot.
