स्वं स्वं वत्सकुलं सर्वे पाययिष्यन्त एकदा गत्वा जलाशयाभ्याशं पाययित्वा पपुर्जलम्

svaṁ svaṁ vatsa-kulaṁ sarve pāyayiṣyanta ekadā gatvā jalāśayābhyāśaṁ pāyayitvā papur jalam

Synonyms

svam svamown respective; vatsa-kulamthe group of calves; sarveall the boys and Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma; pāyayiṣyantaḥdesiring to have them drink water; ekadāone day; gatvāgoing; jala-āśaya-abhyāśamnear the water tank; pāyayitvāafter allowing the animals to drink water; papuḥ jalamthey also drank water..

Translation

One day all the boys, including Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma, each boy taking his own group of calves, brought the calves to a reservoir of water, desiring to allow them to drink. After the animals drank water, the boys drank water there also.
