পরিত্রাণায সাধূনাং বিনাশায চ দুষ্কৃতাম্ ধর্মসংস্থাপনার্থায সম্ভবামি যুগে যুগে

परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम् धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे

paritrāṇāya sādhūnāṁ vināśāya ca duṣkṛtām dharma-saṁsthāpanārthāya sambhavāmi yuge yuge

Synonyms

paritrāṇāyafor the deliverance; sādhūnāmof the devotees; vināśāyafor the destruction; caand; duṣkṛtāmof the miscreants; dharmareligious principles; saṁsthāpana-arthāyafor the purpose of establishing; sambhavāmiI appear; yuge yugein every age..

Translation

"'To deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of religion, I Myself appear, millennium after millennium.'

Purport
