tatra sañjayam āsīnaṁ papracchodvigna-mānasaḥ gāvalgaṇe kva nas tāto vṛddho hīnaś ca netrayoḥ

Synonyms

tatrathere; sañjayamunto Sanjaya; āsīnamseated; papracchaenquired from; udvigna-manasaḥfull with anxious mind; gāvalgaṇethe son of Gabalgan Sanjaya; kvawhere is; naḥour; tātaḥuncle; vṛddhaḥold in age; hīnaḥ caas also bereft of Netrayoh—by the eyes.

Translation

Maharaj Yudhisthira full with anxious mind asked Sanjaya who was sitting on the spot and said "Oh Sanjaya where is our uncle who is advanced in age and blind by the eyes ?"
