pitary uparate pāṇḍau sarvān naḥ suhṛdaḥ śiśūn arakṣatāṁ vyasanataḥ pitṛvyau kva gatāvitaḥ
Synonyms
pitari—upon my father; uparate—fallng down; pāṇḍau—Maharaj Pandu; sarvān—all; naḥ—us; suhṛdaḥ—well wisher; śiśūn—small children; arakṣatām—protected; vyasanataḥ—from all kinds of dangers; pitṛvyau—uncles; kva—where; gatau—have departed; itaḥ—from this place.
Translation
When my father Pandu fell down and we were all small children only at that time our these two uncles gave us protection from all kinds of calamities. They were always our good well wishers, alas where they have gone out from this place ?
