Chapter 18: King Yayāti Regains His Youth

एवं क्षिपन्तीं शर्मिष्ठा गुरुपुत्रीमभाषत रुषा श्वसन्त्युरंगीव धर्षिता दष्टदच्छदा

evaṁ kṣipantīṁ śarmiṣṭhā guru-putrīm abhāṣata ruṣā śvasanty uraṅgīva dharṣitā daṣṭa-dacchadā

Synonyms

Translation

Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: When thus rebuked in cruel words, Śarmiṣṭhā was very angry. Breathing heavily like a serpent and biting her lower lip with her teeth, she spoke to the daughter of Śukrācārya as follows.
