Chapter 14: Disappearance of Lord Krishna

manya etair mahotpātair nūnaṁ bhagavataḥ padaiḥ ananya-puruṣa-śrībhir hīnā bhūr hata-saubhagā

Synonyms

manyeyou may take it for granted; etaiḥby all these; mahāgreat; utpātaiḥupsurges. Nunam—for want of; nūnamof the Personality of Godhead; bhagavataḥthe marks on the footpalm; padaiḥextraordinary; ananyaof the Supreme Personality; puruṣaby the auspicious signs; śrībhiḥunpossesssed; hīnāthe earth; bhūḥwithout any fortune.

Translation

I think that all these earthly disturbances preclude some greater loss in the matter of the good fortune of the world. The world was fortunate to have been imprinted with the auspicious marks of the Lotus Feet of the Lord and it indicates that there is no more such opportunities.
