iti priyāṁ valgu-vicitra-jalpaiḥ sa sāntvayitvācyuta-mitra-sūtaḥ anvādravad daṁśita ugra-dhanvā kapi-dhvajo guru-putraṁ rathena
Synonyms
iti—thus; priyām—unte the dear, balgu—sweet; valgu—variegated Jalpaih—by statements; vicitra—Arjun who is guided by the Infallible Lord as friend and driver. Anwadravat—followed; jalpaiḥ—being protected by Kavach; saḥ—equipped with furious weapons; sāntvayitvā—the son of the martial teacher; acyuta-mitra-sūtaḥ—getting on the chariot.
Translation
Arjuna who is guided by the Infallible Lord as friend and driver, thus satisfying his dear with sweet words of different description dressed himself with protecting as well as furious weapons and began to follow Answatthama the son of his martial teacher, getting on the chariot.
