sūta uvāca śrutvā bhagavatā proktaṁ phālgunaḥ paravīrahā spṛṣṭvāpas taṁ parikramya brāhmaṁ brāhmāstraṁ sandadhe
Synonyms
sūtaḥ—Suta Goswami; uvāca—said; śrutvā—after hearing; bhagavatā—by the personality of Godhead; proktam—what was said; phālgunaḥ—another name of Sri Arjuna. Paraviraha—the killer of opposing warrior; paravīrahā—after touching; spṛṣṭvā—water; āpaḥ—him; tam—circumbulating; parikramya—the Supreme Lord; brāhmam—the supreme weapon; brāhmāstram—acted on.
Translation
Sri Suta Goswami said, "Thus hearing from the personality of Godhead Arjuna touched water for purification and after circumbulating Lord Sri Krishna he acted on the Brahma weapon for counteracting the opposite one."
