পাণ্ডিত্যের অবধি, বাক্য নাহি কারো সনে নির্জনে রহযে, লোক সব নাহি জানে
पाण्डित्येर अवधि, वाक्य नाहि कारो सने निर्जने रहये, लोक सब नाहि जाने
pāṇḍityera avadhi, vākya nāhi kāro sane nirjane rahaye, loka saba nāhi jāne

Translation
Svarūpa Dāmodara was the limit of all learned scholarship, but he did not exchange words with anyone. He simply remained in a solitary place, and no one could understand where he was.
