তত্ত্ববাদী সহ কৈল তত্ত্বের বিচার আপনাকে হীনবুদ্ধি হৈল তাঙ্সবার

तत्त्ववादी सह कैल तत्त्वेर विचार आपनाके हीनबुद्धि हैल ताङ्सबार

tattva-vādī saha kaila tattvera vicāra āpanāke hīna-buddhi haila tāṅ-sabāra

Synonyms

Translation

Caitanya Mahāprabhu also had a discussion with the Tattvavādī community, and the Tattvavādīs felt themselves to be inferior Vaiṣṇavas.

Purport

The Tattvavādī sect belongs to Madhvācārya's Vaiṣṇava community, but its behavior differs from the strict Madhvācārya Vaiṣṇava principles. There is one monastery named Uttararāḍī, and its commander is named Raghuvarya-tīrtha-madhvācārya.
