এতস্য মোহনাখ্যস্য গতিং কামপ্যুপেযুষঃ ভ্রমাভা কাপি বৈচিত্রী দিব্যোন্মাদ ইতীর্যতে উদ্ঘূর্ণাচিত্রজল্পাদ্যাস্তদ্ভেদা বহবো মতাঃ

एतस्य मोहनाख्यस्य गतिं कामप्युपेयुषः भ्रमाभा कापि वैचित्री दिव्योन्माद इतीर्यते उद्घूर्णाचित्रजल्पाद्यास्तद्भेदा बहवो मताः

etasya mohanākhyasya gatiṁ kāmapy upeyuṣaḥ bhramābhā kāpi vaicitrī divyonmāda itīryate udghūrṇā-citra-jalpādyās tad-bhedā bahavo matāḥ

Translation

"When the ecstatic emotion of enchantment gradually progresses, it becomes similar to bewilderment. Then one reaches the stage of astonishment [vaicitrī], which awakens transcendental madness. Udghūrṇā and citra-jalpa are two among the many divisions of transcendental madness."
