প্রাপ্তপ্রণষ্টাচ্যুতবিত্ত আত্মা যযৌ বিষাদোজ্ঝিতদেহগেহঃ গৃহীতকাপালিকধর্মকো মে বৃন্দাবনং সেন্দ্রিযশিষ্যবৃন্দঃ

प्राप्तप्रणष्टाच्युतवित्त आत्मा ययौ विषादोज्झितदेहगेहः गृहीतकापालिकधर्मको मे वृन्दावनं सेन्द्रियशिष्यवृन्दः

prāpta-praṇaṣṭācyuta-vitta ātmā yayau viṣādojjhita-deha-gehaḥ gṛhīta-kāpālika-dharmako me vṛndāvanaṁ sendriya-śiṣya-vṛndaḥ

Translation

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said, "At first My mind somehow achieved the treasure of Kṛṣṇa, but it again lost Him. Therefore it gave up My body and home because of lamentation and accepted the religious principles of a kāpālika-yogī. Then My mind went to Vṛndāvana with its disciples, My senses."
