পুষ্পগন্ধ লঞা বহে মলযপবন ঽগুরুঽ হঞা তরুলতায শিখায নাচন

पुष्पगन्ध लञा वहे मलयपवन ऽगुरुऽ हञा तरुलताय शिखाय नाचन

puṣpa-gandha lañā vahe malaya-pavana 'guru' hañā taru-latāya śikhāya nācana

Synonyms

puṣpa-gandhathe fragrance of the flowers; lañātaking; vaheblows; malaya-pavanathe mild breeze; guru hañābecoming the spiritual master; taru-latāyato the trees and creepers; śikhāyainstructs; nācanadancing..

Translation

A mild breeze was blowing, carrying the fragrance of aromatic flowers. The breeze had become a guru and was teaching all the trees and creepers how to dance.
