বক্তা শ্রোতা কহে শুনে দুঙ্হে প্রেমাবেশে আত্মস্মৃতি নাহি, কাহাঙ্জানিব দিনশেষে

वक्ता श्रोता कहे शुने दुङ्हे प्रेमावेशे आत्मस्मृति नाहि, काहाङ्जानिब दिनशेषे

vaktā śrotā kahe śune duṅhe premāveśe ātma-smṛti nāhi, kāhāṅ jāniba dina-śeṣe

Synonyms

vaktāthe speaker; śrotāthe listener; kahespeaks; śunehears; duṅheboth of them; prema-āveśein ecstatic love; ātma-smṛti nāhithere was no bodily consciousness; kāhāṅwhere; jānibacan understand; dina-śeṣethe end of day..

Translation

The speaker and listener spoke and heard in ecstatic love. Thus they forgot their bodily consciousness. How, then, could they perceive the end of the day?
