নৌকাতে কালীযজ্ঞান, দীপে রত্নজ্ঞানে! জালিযারে মূঢলোক ঽকৃষ্ণঽ করিঽ মানে!
नौकाते कालीयज्ञान, दीपे रत्नज्ञाने! जालियारे मूढलोक ऽकृष्णऽ करिऽ माने!
naukāte kālīya-jñāna, dīpe ratna-jñāne! jāliyāre mūḍha-loka 'kṛṣṇa' kari' māne!

Translation
"These fools think that the boat is the Kālīya serpent and the torchlight the jewels on his hoods. People also mistake the fisherman to be Kṛṣṇa.
