সালোক্যসার্ষ্টিসারূপ্য সামীপ্যৈকত্বমপ্যুত দীযমানং ন গৃহ্ণন্তি বিনা মত্সেবনং জনাঃ

सालोक्यसार्ष्टिसारूप्य सामीप्यैकत्वमप्युत दीयमानं न गृह्णन्ति विना मत्सेवनं जनाः

sālokya-sārṣṭi-sārūpya- sāmīpyaikatvam apy uta dīyamānaṁ na gṛhṇanti vinā mat-sevanaṁ janāḥ

Synonyms

sālokyato live on the same planet; sārṣṭito acquire the same opulence; sārūpyato achieve the same bodily features; sāmīpyato live always near the Supreme Lord; ekatvamto merge into the existence of the Lord; apieven; utacertainly; dīyamānambeing offered; na gṛhṇantido not take; vināwithout; mat-sevanamMy service; janāḥthe devotees..

Translation

" 'My devotees do not accept sālokya, sārṣṭi, sārūpya, sāmīpya, or oneness with Me—even if I offer these liberations—in preference to serving Me.' "

Purport

This verse is spoken by Lord Kapila, an avatāra of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (3.29.13).
