যদ্যপি হরিদাস বিপ্রের দোষ না লৈলা তথাপি ঈশ্বর তারে ফল ভুংজাইলা
यद्यपि हरिदास विप्रेर दोष ना लैला तथापि ईश्वर तारे फल भुंजाइला
yadyapi haridāsa viprera doṣa nā la-ilā tathāpi īśvara tāre phala bhuñjāilā

Translation
Although Haridāsa Ṭhākura, as a Vaiṣṇava, did not take seriously the brāhmaṇa's offense, the Supreme Personality of Godhead could not tolerate it, and thus he made the brāhmaṇa suffer the consequences.
