গৃহান্তঃখেলন্ত্যো নিজসহজবাল্যস্য বলনাদভদ্রং ভদ্রং বা কিমপি হি ন জানীমহি মনাক্ বযং নেতুং যুক্তাঃ কথমশরণাং কা অপি দশাং কথং বা ন্যায্যা তে প্রথযিতুমুদাসীনপদবী

गृहान्तःखेलन्त्यो निजसहजबाल्यस्य बलनादभद्रं भद्रं वा किमपि हि न जानीमहि मनाक् वयं नेतुं युक्ताः कथमशरणां का अपि दशां कथं वा न्याय्या ते प्रथयितुमुदासीनपदवी

gṛhāntaḥ-khelantyo nija-sahaja-bālyasya balanād abhadraṁ bhadraṁ vā kim api hi na jānīmahi manāk vayaṁ netuṁ yuktāḥ katham aśaraṇāṁ kā api daśāṁ kathaṁ vā nyāyyā te prathayitum udāsīna-padavī

Translation

" 'I was engaged in My own playful activities in My home, and because of My childish innocence I did not know right from wrong. Therefore, is it good for You to have forced us into being so much attracted to You and then to have neglected us? Now You are indifferent to us. Do You think that is right?'
