শিবানন্দ কুক্কুর দেখিঽ দণ্ডবত্কৈলা দৈন্য করিঽ নিজ অপরাধ ক্ষমাইলা
शिवानन्द कुक्कुर देखिऽ दण्डवत्कैला दैन्य करिऽ निज अपराध क्षमाइला
śivānanda kukkura dekhi' daṇḍavat kailā dainya kari' nija aparādha kṣamāilā

Translation
When he saw the dog sitting in that way and chanting the name of Kṛṣṇa, Śivānanda, because of his natural humility, immediately offered his obeisances to the dog just to counteract his offenses to it.
