ঽবামাঽ এক গোপীগণ, ঽদক্ষিণাঽ এক গণ নানাভাবে করায কৃষ্ণে রস আস্বাদন
ऽवामाऽ एक गोपीगण, ऽदक्षिणाऽ एक गण नानाभावे कराय कृष्णे रस आस्वादन
'vāmā' eka gopī-gaṇa, 'dakṣiṇā' eka gaṇa nānā-bhāve karāya kṛṣṇe rasa āsvādana

Translation
"The gopīs can be divided into a left wing and a right wing. Both wings induce Kṛṣṇa to taste transcendental mellows by various manifestations of ecstatic love.
