শ্রীবাসে কহেন প্রভু করিযা বিষাদ লোক ভয পায,—মোর হয অপরাধ
श्रीवासे कहेन प्रभु करिया विषाद लोक भय पाय,—मोर हय अपराध
śrīvāse kahena prabhu kariyā viṣāda loka bhaya pāya,—mora haya aparādha

Translation
The Lord became morose and said to Śrīvāsa Ṭhākura, "When I adopted the mood of Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva, people were greatly afraid. Therefore I stopped, since causing fear among people is an offense."
