মহদ্বিচলনং নৃণাং গৃহিণাং দীনচেতসাম্ নিঃশ্রেযসায ভগবন্নান্যথা কল্পতে ক্বচিত্

महद्विचलनं नृणां गृहिणां दीनचेतसाम् निःश्रेयसाय भगवन्नान्यथा कल्पते क्वचित्

mahad-vicalanaṁ nṛṇāṁ gṛhiṇāṁ dīna-cetasām niḥśreyasāya bhagavan nānyathā kalpate kvacit

Synonyms

mahat-vicalanamthe wandering of saintly persons; nṛṇāmof human beings; gṛhiṇāmwho are householders; dīna-cetasāmlow-minded; niḥśreyasāyafor the ultimate benefit; bhagavanO my Lord; na anyathānot any other purpose; kalpateone imagines; kvacitat any time..

Translation

"'My dear Lord, sometimes great saintly persons go to the homes of householders, although these householders are generally low-minded. When a saintly person visits their homes, one can understand that it is for no other purpose than to benefit the householders.'
