যদা হি নেন্দ্রিযার্থেষু ন কর্মস্বনুষজ্জতে সর্বসংকল্পসন্ন্যাসী যোগারূঢস্তদোচ্যতে

यदा हि नेन्द्रियार्थेषु न कर्मस्वनुषज्जते सर्वसंकल्पसन्न्यासी योगारूढस्तदोच्यते

yadā hi nendriyārtheṣu na karmasv anuṣajjate sarva-saṅkalpa-sannyāsī yogārūḍhas tadocyate

Translation

" 'When a person is no longer interested in acting for sense gratification and when he renounces all material desires, he is said to be situated in perfect yoga [yogārūḍha].'
